Bonko washing station, owned by Said Adem Bedane, is situated in Dare, in the South of Sidamo. The area that surrounds the washing station, is very suitable to cultivate specialty coffee. Local farmers harvest one to two hectares of land and deliver ripe red cherries directly to the Bonko washing station. Said treats farmers as equal partners and rewards them with the best prices. He takes care of all aspects and is fully dedicated to delivering the highest quality washed Sidamo coffees. Bonko is a generous coffee. It is nutty and loaded with notes of yellow plum and blackcurrant.
