Coffee from Gatagua Factory is in high demand, and for good reason. The cup profile epitomizes everything we love about Kenyan coffees. Gatagua’s focus on high quality at all stages of cultivation and
processing has helped them increase their cup score to a reeling 87-88+.

This AA coffee is grown on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountain range. The fertile red volcanic soil provides plenty of nutrients for growing trees while warm daytime and cool nighttime temperatures create the best environment for beans to develop slowly and amass as much sugar as possible. The result is a fruit-forward coffee with a complex acidity – a classic Kenyan.
