Kiangundo washing station - or factory, as it is called in Kenya - receives cherry from about 690 producers who grow coffee trees on nearby farms, located between 1,700-1,900 meters above sea level. Kiangundo lies in Nyeri, traditionally known as the heart of Kenya’s black gold coffee. Most coffees from Nyeri develop and mature slowly, producing extra hard beans. This quality reflects in the cup. Kiangundo is a shining example of what Kenyan coffee can be: loaded with fresh fruit flavours, apple, blood orange and caramel sweetness. We are extremely excited to share this coffee with you! Enjoy!
