Finca Timbuyacu lies in the Amazonas region of Northern Peru. The farm is owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Alfonso and Karim. Finca Timbuyacu is the cornerstone of the Café Monteverde cooperative. It serves as a model farm, as a pilot project for experiments and as an opportunity to educate more than 250 farmers in the area. Timbuyacu’s coffee ranked high in the 2017 Cup of Excellence. The anaerobic fermentation of this lot enhanced the characteristics of the beans, creating a rich coffee with notes of dried apples and hops. Truly exceptional!
